Cooking with the kids!

The practice ended but we still have some visits.

And like for the north and the south of Portugal i had to show a bit of the center and i live in the center in Cascais.

Where i live we have some cookies called "Areias de Cascais" and that is what i have done with the kids today!

First we baked, they baked because i let them do everything so they can learn an experiment knew things. I just put in the oven.

When the cookies were ready we eat them and i showed them my house, my car, Cascais, my favourite beach "Guincho", the mountains near Cascais "Serra de Sintra" and the palace and the castel that are in the mountains, my boat and my dogs!

Carefully roll the mixture into small ballsthe dough can easily crack
put the pieces onto the tray, separately
Bake for 12 minutes (the pieces must be baked but colourless)

Let the pieces cool down and then involved them in sugar.

I showed them this things on Google Earth so they could see better and where were the places in the world and in Portugal and they could experiment a new form of learn about the world.

I thought about showing my house because they have a board in the room with all of their houses and a map for them to see were is the house then i thought that would be fun to show my house and the differences between them and then put there.
