Knowing the place of practice

Today we visited the place where we will have our practice time. 

The institution is located in Melltorp, 20 min. from the center of Borås and has easy access by bus.

The place is great and has fantastic conditions for children . The teachers seemed very approachable and ready to teach us as they can and to transmit the culture of Swedish education.

We will also try to transmit a little of Portuguese culture because the exchange of ideas and learning new ways of teaching is always a bonus for those who teach and for those who learn.

It will be a very challenging step because most children only speak Swedish and us almost nothing. They also will teach us many things that will certainly be very important for our lifes.

We are three Portuguese students and we will be the three at the same institution. We have very close rooms each other and they are all heterogeneous - from 2 to 5 years old.

They explained that their food is made there and that was a  really good thing because most of the pre-schools doesn't have their own kitchen and so has Swedish fresh and typical food ready for their kids.

Everyone eats there , breakfast, lunch and snack.

Our hours will be from 8 am till 3 pm and we will start already on Friday.

We have a visit every week and after the three weeks of practice.

My room is the " Björken ". 

The children were very curious to see us there i hope it will be always like this to help us the most with the comunication because that will be the biggest challenge of this learning. 

We also had the first Swedish class.

It was a interesting lesson but very difficult . The words are very different from what we know and are accustomed . It will be hard to learn but it will be a very interesting challenge!
